Is there anybody that is more racist than Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson?

I have a question, (this is a honest question) when a baby is brought into this world by a white mother and the father is black visa versa are white family's accepting or kinda see this child as the black sheep of the family (seriously no pun intended).

For the record, me being african American i know that multiracial kids are happily accepted as their own and considered black children.

I wonder what itallians are considered as white? From what I've read it is historical fact that Italians get their dark complexion from when African Moores attacked sicelley many many centuries ago.

Exactly!! Not a hate crime in my opinion. I think the biggest issue is the vaugue language in the stand your ground laws.

Also, here are some cold hard facts about the "victim."

Not sure I understand exactly what you are saying.

Are you presupposing murder in this case?

Grizz, as much as I would hope that that baby could transcend any prejudices the white family may have, I know that is not always the case. The skin tone of a child born into my family would not matter but I can think of other families or even earlier generations of my own where such an "offense" could result in ostracization from the family. My hope and general observation is that this is no longer prevalent but I honestly don't know that.

No. All of these people are assuming it was murder. Given all of the stuff Martin has done I doubt it was murder. If any thing what Zimmerman rightfully did actually saved untold lives.

I know one couple who are raising and have applied for addoption for a little black girl they have taken care of since she was a baby.

Her dad is doing ten in prison, her mother is mia, what you would call a street crack ho who hasn't checked in in years.

Sweet little girl, once when we were having a cookout, she (at about age five) went over to where some of the guys had leaned their guitars against the garage and plucked just one string. Seemed like a magic moment. She has trouble reconciling the fact that she has such a different skin color from those around her. She is as well loved as any member of the family.

There is much more projection of the idea of racial prejudice by some than the racial prejudice that actually exists imo. Just my two cents.

I spent a year and a half in Italy, want to get into a quick fist fight? Ask an Italian what is the difference between an Italian and an African. Answer the Mediterranian.

In reality though, an olive skin is evident all around the Med, and the black Irish are said to have been the progeny of shipwrecked Spanish sailors and the Spanish were under the domination of various north Africans for seven hundred years.

PS; I hope to be able to have the opportunity to give many more examples of how most white people aren't all that racially prejudiced.

Of course the bad example element usually garners the attention first, on both sides of the skin color divide.
(If there is such a thing.)

Grizz in my experience (white man's world :)) they are accepted like any other child. My best friend was married to a black woman and has a son from that marriage. Of course you would never know his son was of mixed race unless you were specifically told so maybe that has something to do with it. All I know is from my time around his family he is treated like any other child/grandchild

of course my friend is also now remarried to an Italian so maybe that answers your other question

Moors a lot like the Seljuks in heritage I believe. I thought they were mostly in Spain though.

That's awesome PJ. I just didn't know, I just wanted to know the opinions of the other side. This is weird because I just had a discussion with my crew leader about this. His wife has a close friend who has a mixed child and he asked her some questions as to how is her and her daughter treated etc. Her father about disowned her for it. And my crew leader told het from a white male perspective that no other white man will have her for the simple fact that she has had that Soul Pole all over her in a past relationship.

Well GS I was raised by my parents grandparents aunts uncles coaches etc to do things the gentalmenly way.
