Is there anybody that is more racist than Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson?

Of course it exists. Everywhere. Blacks just don't normally have a vehichle to express their racism. As in hiring practices, living arrangements and the like.

Throughout American history, racism has been a tool used overtly by the whites to control virtually everthing. Like where you "work" :) , live and even eat or drink (control freaks). Even where you sit on a bus. If a black man was a racist, he better keep it hush-hush, because it could be used AGAINST him. -- So, how would you propose blacks have "utilized" the racism tool? Blacks may have many racist thoughts about whites, but it has not been acted upon NEARLY as much as it has by whites throughout history. Acts of black racism usually occur after something like the Zimmerman case happens and people are outraged. Or the Rodney King case. Or the Medgar Wiley Evers case. Blacks don't normally just blow up churches like Birmingham (with the people in them) or tether a white man to truck (James Byrd Jr.). I am sure some blacks don't 'like' whites, they just don't manifest it as some whites have in the past. -- I am not biased either way. I am black however, and racists as well as racism is alive and well. :salute:

so, to summarize: some white people in America's past did some terribly racist and bigoted things, therefore all white people are racist and blacks will be victims in perpetuity.

Interested to know how any black man is what is wrong with a white society (other than mere presence), including Farakhan. If blacks didn't speak out, we would still be riding the backs of buses and eating our food in alleys and still not voting. We have to make noise. And when you speak out, you are "what is wrong with society". From what I can tell, that is a bunch of bull****; fresh from the bull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see your point. And not gonna lie being dark skinned has hurt me in getting promotions. Not that my company is biased, just didn't feel I would succeed in certain parts of country that had openings.

I'm half English half Hispanic, but have dark complexion.

Nope. Most whites have never been racist. All white people are not racist. -- Blacks will forever be a victim. There is no way to reliquish your status as a victim. I am sure that there are a bunch of victims worldwide that would love to if they could. Blacks who endured racism in America will be victims of racism for eternity. That is the main reason racism was used as a tool against them, because it ****ing works!

there was just a story where a guy was doused with gasoline and set on fire for being white. Or the shooting at MSU. Or the actions of the Black Panther party in the past few years. Maybe you're just following the lead of guys like Obama and Holder and really think fire hoses and dogs happen every day. They don't and using something that happened 50-100yrs ago as justification is ridiculous

feeling sorry for yourself and blaming others for your personal failings will always make you a victim

you just choose to put a white face on it to absolve yourself of any personal responsibility

OMG boo who! Get over it, every race on this earth has be discriminated against at one point or another. Were the things that happened to the black community horrible, ABSOLUTELY. But to sit there and say that white people are racist and blacks are not is laughable. If any one has the right to ***** the native Americans and the Jews certainly have the right.

Hoffman reveals: The Forgotten Slaves--Whites in Servitude

The Irish Slave Trade – The Forgotten “White” Slaves – Rasta Livewire

From 1641 to 1652, over 500,000 Irish were killed by the English and another 300,000 were sold as slaves. Ireland’s population fell from about 1,500,000 to 600,000 in one single decade. Families were ripped apart as the British did not allow Irish dads to take their wives and children with them across the Atlantic. This led to a helpless population of homeless women and children. Britain’s solution was to auction them off as well.

I follow no ones lead as you are putting it. -- 50 to 100 years, try doubling that. -- There can be stories of a black harming a white. Surely. Where would those stories originate though; in a newspaper. -- On the other hand, Slavery was engendered long before google or the New York Times (where your "stories" come from) came online. It has a long and storied past. Passed down through generations of blacks in this country (my family included). Racism is still dying a slow death as well. -- We have actually traced our family roots back to a plantation down south. The minor ordeal that blacks lived through for hundreds of years in this country and the absolute horrors that a few whites have gone through recently just don't compare. To try to compare the two is a farce. One directly caused and led to the other. I will let you figure out which one came first, in all of your infinite wisdom, that is.

Correct. Feeling sorry for myself and blaming others will get me nowhere. -- I did not put a white face on a slave owner. It was born like that. I did not put a white face on the the problems in America that led to the Civil Rights movement. It was born like that. -- I am not a victim of anybody or anything. I do not need to be absolved of anything. I have not personally failed at anything that can be blamed on anyone else. Whatever are you talking about? HUH?

Trayvon Martin | Jesse Jackson | Al Sharpton | The Daily Caller

Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.”

“His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,” Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller.

The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.”
