If Guarantano has a sack, he’ll look Jordan Murphy in the eye and tell him he’s no longer part of this team then walk into Pruitt’s office and calmly explain that he’s never throwing this kid another pass. If he plays him, fine, but he’s not getting another ball. Then he’ll invite anyone else on the team who thinks it’s funny to leave peacefully or be thrown out by Trey Smith and Jauan Jennings.
This is what I mean when I say it’s not pruitts fault. We still have guys here who obviously don’t care about the university of Tennessee.
What has he done that warrants that hate. He's come publicly and said that he's going to recruit 25 more guys that play the right way...some aren't giving effort. This is absolutely Pruitt's fault, they played like a team that hated their coach on Saturday and this has confirmed that many do. It's his job to inspire and motivate these young men who are here now to play to their maximum potential. He has failed miserably. It's year 2, if anyone is still here they obviously weren't that bad of an egg or considered irredeemable when Pruitt got here, at one point he obviously thought they could help the team and he's completely lost them. That's on Pruitt all day long. That they had this type of attitude in Week 1 is just appalling. Pruitt is no leader, he has sowed this disrespect in complaining about his roster for a year and in the horrible attitude he himself has displayed, on the coaching show and elsewhere. These are Pruitt's chickens coming home to roost with his @$$.
Don't let Murphey transfer. Keep him on the bench until he quits the team. If he goes to the portal, don't approve him for transfer. If he wants to disrespect, I would give him plenty of reasons.
This.I take back what I said about Pruitt then after seeing this. This really explains alot. No need for the pitch forks yet. I understand the fustrating aspect of it but clearly there are players on the roster that don't care about the university and what it's means to play for TN. We're gonna see alot of freshman that play this year it's gonna take time that's for sure but we will see improvement.

WrongDon't get soft. This happened AFTER the game. Pruitt is still a terrible coach and still showed ZERO emotion out there at Neyland. He had no passion. His coaching and his product on the field were terrible that day. He was a standing robot since he came down the Vol Walk.
Fire Pruitt! And bench this clown!!
Take back our team people!
I'm going off the way the team played in Week 1 of Year 2. I have never seen such a lack of effort in 35+ years of watching football, you couple that with the way we played with a bowl bid on the line against Missouri and Vandy last year, and the multiple times Pruitt has publicly insinuated that he can't wait to replace his current players, and the petulant attitude he displays on his show that is made for the benefit of the fans that pay his salary and I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg. These players know him far better than we do and for them to quit on him the way they have these last 3 games tells me the man is no leader, he is the guy from Animal House who was shot in Vietnam by his own troops. What has he done that warrants that hate. He's come publicly and said that he's going to recruit 25 more guys that play the right way...some aren't giving effort.
