I take back what I said about Pruitt then after seeing this. This really explains alot. No need for the pitch forks yet. I understand the fustrating aspect of it but clearly there are players on the roster that don't care about the university and what it's means to play for TN. We're gonna see alot of freshman that play this year it's gonna take time that's for sure but we will see improvement.

I'd rather lose with Freshmen, 3rd-stringers, and walk-ons putting forth maximum effort than watch any more gutless play like we saw on Saturday.

Don't get soft. This happened AFTER the game. Pruitt is still a terrible coach and still showed ZERO emotion out there at Neyland. He had no passion. His coaching and his product on the field were terrible that day. He was a standing robot since he came down the Vol Walk.

It is time for CP to bench a bunch of "players", or better yet-kick them off the team, for good. In order to save what is left of our program, a complete house cleaning may be necessary. I'd start with any player that thinks the GS loss was funneeee. If we have to play the entire season with True Freshman-and not win a single game, but they were giving 100%, learning, improving, and Cared about UT, I could live with it.

Yet people want to blame Pruitt for some of the players refusing to give a damn. This more of a upperclassmen culture problem that he is trying to fix with play an influx of freshman.

Damn straight I hold Pruitt accountable for the lack of discipline and fire in these players. Whether he recruited them or not.

Can you imagine any of this garbage going on under Majors? Saban? Give me a break I’m tired of excusing malpractice and apathy. Either we have standards or we don’t. Pruitt allowed Shamburger to laugh on the sidelines while Vandy was embarrassing Tennessee last yr. Then Garland sits out camp in transfer portal only to come back week before the game AND PLAY!

The program is an embarrassment.
