It's sad everyone says stupid things from time to time. The only thing that varies is the frequency and if it becomes available for public consumptionI've been getting texts today about some incoming cheerleader at UT getting her admission revoked because she posted a racist Snapchat video. I'm not saying it's fair, but young people need to learn to be careful about what they document for others to see.
Or instead they should learn not to say racist BS whether it's being recorded or not.I've been getting texts today about some incoming cheerleader at UT getting her admission revoked because she posted a racist Snapchat video. Yeah... but kids are going to say stupid things from time to time. The more realistic goal is to get them to understand how that can have serious and long term consequences for their reputations if those things reach the public realm.Or instead they should learn not to say racist BS whether it's being recorded or not.
An Oregon St player was kicked off the team for that reason alsoI've been getting texts today about some incoming cheerleader at UT getting her admission revoked because she posted a racist Snapchat video. No, not at all. He thought he was just messing around with a buddy. You just have to be careful about what you put in writing. It can be easily misinterpreted and you never really know whose eyes it may comes across.I saw it as sarcasm from his end. You’d say you have to be careful what you say...but to a friend you’re texting? Do you honestly think he was championing white elitism?
Okay buddy. I'm pretty sure saying only elite white people should have guns is a racist statement. I guess you're right though, if you're going to say racist stuff, dont put it on social media. Just keep that racism to yourself.Yes, seriously. We all say dumb things to our friends that we don't intend to be interpreted literally... that doesn't make anyone a ****ing racist.
If you are joking with a friend, who you trust not to post your words to the internet? No, it's not racist. It's only racist if you mean such a thing in a literal sense. It's pretty evident that was not the case with Fromm... it isn't the case in most circumstances such as this. Context matters.Okay buddy.
