Is Tiger Woods a racist or just a pathological liar??

My grandfather spent a number of years working at the courses in Fairfield.

All the Fairfield courses are nice. I remember when Druid Hills and Tansi were the only courses around there. Beautiful area, but in the middle of nowhere. Wouldn't you rather live in the greatest city on earth, LA, CA??:birgits_giggle:

Fairfield Glade is probably the most beautiful area up there. I like Lake Tansi myself. I shot 75 there they first time I played. I played Stonehenge, which is WAY overrated IMO, and shot 84 because the black gnats were eating the course alive that year. Also have played the Bear Trace up there, but didn't care for the layout and shot 79.

The only course I've actually played in Crossville in Lake Tansi. I didn't really try golfing much until I lived in Knoxville and then a bit more here. I don't have much time/money for it though, and the courses aren't nice at all here. I may be able to afford (both in time and $$) to attempt to become decent at it once I move to Michigan...at least the courses are nicer there.

completely off-topic, but am I the only one that has no clue how to make an avatar?

Just kidding :)

Go to User CP on the menu bar at the top of this page (up there with FAQ, Calendar, New Posts, etc.). Once you go to User CP, click on edit avatar (under Settings and Options). There, you will see an option to load an image from your computer to the site to be your avatar (under 'use a custom avatar'). If the picture is too big, you may have to re-size it, which isn't too difficult.

implying, of course, that Sewanee pays you over 200k, which is laughable.
I implied nothing of the sort. You must not have read my post. Not surprising, you (like others here) assume things before you have the facts. My interest income/year is more than my Sewanee salary/year. Go back and read the post or STFU

You made over 1 million last year? You aren't talking about total income though, are you? You are talking about your commissions as a stock broker vs my salary at the university? Maybe so. Who cares?? I make more in interest each year than I do here at Sewanee. And WOW, I do so without the aid of some CFA making money off of my money Meaningless??? LOL. Maybe to you but to me and the guys I play with on Wednesdays it is very meaningful. And I would bet we're all much happier than you. And it is always nice to hear some ignorant dolt ragging on some place he knows NOTHING about. I'll take where I live vs where you live any day of the week. LA is, quite possibly, the biggest sh*thole in the US. Seems you have much to learn. Hang in there. It will all click one day

right because being a paper pusher is much more important to society than actually driving the investing of america. completely meaningless

and that's why the property prices are 100X what they are where you are. complete ****hole.

I agree 100%. I don't think it is as highly rated as it was in the past. Too many people were enamored with the bent fairways in the beginning. As BPV stated, bent fairways generally suck unless you are at Murifield Village

congrats. you can invest your own money and i'm sure you will lose your own money. i can do my own paper pushing too. and the fact you can think of 100 other places you'd rather live shows how much of a dumb redneck you are.

as for needing people like you, i like my clients to not be idiots.

Speaking of investing. My 401k just cracked 30k for the first time so that was exciting.

not really. bonds and stocks are both very overpriced. though if you are fairly young you probably don't need to worry about it.

Drosk said your salary, to which you threw out the 1 mill number......here is a little clue, interest income is not salary.....a cost accountant should be able to figure that our seeing how cost accounting is the most hardest/ most special kind of accounting there is
we ALL wish you would STFU
