not really. bonds and stocks are both very overpriced. though if you are fairly young you probably don't need to worry about it.

i very much doubt his interest income is over 150K a year. unless he saved 3 mil from his back office jobs which i find very questionable. if so i'd suggest he not be investing in taxable bonds.
