Is tonight the night?

This game has a college atmosphere to it. Big underdog taking on Goliath, crowd really into it.

i'm so tired of all the boo-hooing and bellyaching over the Pats that i want them to put 3428752098752 points on everybody.

The coach was universally regarded as a jackass before the cheating thing, and he responded to that by acting like even more of a jackass. Boston sports fans have become the most obnoxious fans in the country since their teams started winning. The media's been relentlessly fellating Brady in almost Tebow-esque fashion all season. Of course everybody else wants them to lose.

I am not a Ravens fan at all, but when I went to a game up there last year with my friend, I described it as having almost a college atmosphere. They have a marching band, for example. It's the least sterile, corporate-driven NFL environment I've seen.

(Have not been to Denver, KC, Green Bay, etc. though.)

why not run it on 3rd & 14 from the 30 to set up a Field goal ?

The wind is apparently hellacious tonight, to the point were the radio announcers were talking earlier about how the goalposts were shaking back and forth. Presumably the Ravens would have been kicking into the wind, so they passed up the long FG and went for the big play. Wouldn't have been _that_ bad a play if they hadn't given up the huge return.

Unbelievable. The Ravens stopped them TWICE on fourth and one, but neither one counted. The rest was inevitable.
