UT is not bad. Kiffin put UT in a terrible position. The other candidates did not want to step into a buzzsaw that would tarnish their reps. UT is still rebuilding and to jump in take the reins was too great a risk . Do you think Texas would give Muschamp the nod if he came to UT and stunk it up? LA Tech was a laughing stock and CDD took the challenge rather the safe road with Saban. Now he is taking on a bruised and battered program that noone else had the guts to take. Damn lucky to have Derek Dooley.

I'm struggling with the fact that the HC at Air Force, Utah, Duke, and TCU all turned UT down. Would have easily doubled their salary. I really don't know what to make of it.
