Is UT's class effectively complete?

With Corker committing to Kentucky, are there any big fish left in the 2017 class that UT has a legit chance of getting?

Plenty of good 3 star recruits still out there. Jones should have a field day in the 5 weeks or so left till signing day.

Corker to Kensucky? Wow where did that come from. I thought it was down to Vols and USC Jr.

8-9 wins per year should never, ever be enough at Tennessee. Gotta get much better at bringing top players in, especially given this staffs struggles in player development.

Sucks to say it, but the way we ended the season is gonna impact us. We ended trending down instead of up. Then on top of it all CBJ got sniped on the culture story and now we are a tougher sell than we were. You pair all that with all the projects we have taken on the past couple of classes. Tough sell to kids that are putting their future in your hands.

Completely agree. This class doesnt seem like its stocked full of top players though.

Call me crazy but Safe Money seems to be on Akers and Ray not suiting up in Orange. If you know something else please enlighten us, that's what this thread is for.

Don't get me wrong, I got my boom cocked and loaded in case we pull one of those players, but it just doesn't seem like it's in the cards. I was hoping somebody had some good news I didn't know about in this thread.

But in all seriousness, I think you're absolutely right. And despite how harmless Butch's intentions may have been. I think his Life comment really hurt as well.

I played 2 years of high school football. But that really doesnt matter. I am giving my opinion. Yes I am going by rankings. As much as you and anyone else want to believe different, the rankings get it right more often than not.

So please tell me, is it your opinion that this class is full of top recruits?

Nope not at all. I don't think it's full of elite talent, but I don't think its a garbage class either! We won't have an elite class like Bama or OSU till we start winning 10-12 games a year! I do think there is some great pieces to help this team though! A class can't be judge now just going off rankings, it will take 2 years to come back and say wether this class was good or great!

It fills the needs at OL, DT, DE, OLB, and safety. We also got a number 2 or 3 RB in Chandler.

We are really pretty well set for another run at the SEC barring another year of injuries.
