Is UT's class effectively complete?

Well if this class is in fact, complete, then I'm going to have to go with ineffectively complete.

Cam Akers is putting on a Tennessee hat tomorrow and you can take that to the bank.

You've still yet to acknowledge the fact that in the Akers thread you stated Smith would be at Akers's celebration party tonight, which would be factually incorrect seeing as Smith is in Orlando.

Care to address this little tidbit?

It fills the needs at OL, DT, DE, OLB, and safety. We also got a number 2 or 3 RB in Chandler.

We are really pretty well set for another run at the SEC barring another year of injuries.

Offense

TE Wolf
LT Kendrick
LG Robertson
C Coleman
RG Jones
RT Hall
WR Byrd
WR Jennings
WR Malone/Calloway
QB Dormady/Guaratano
PK Medley
P Daniel

Defense

DE Kongbo
DT Vickers
DT Tuttle
DE Phillips

OLB McDowell
MLB Kirkland
OLB Smith

CB Buchanan
CB Abernathy
SS Kelly
FS Warrior

NB Golsten

I don't know why you bothered asking this board, it's clear no body knows what's gonna happened with how many people were epically wrong with the Akers predictions.

Nice troll job, in multiple threads. Kudos.....most of us didn't buy even a single word you wrote, but you get marks for your persistence in consistently spewing crap in more than one thread.

Of course it's not complete.

Corker
Akers
Ray

All 3 and probably a robotic clone of Peyton will be added any day now. No worries. Butch got this.

This class is effectively done, may swap around a couple other 3* stars but nothing worth a darn will happen to help this roster further.

Once signing day is complete this class will be lucky to be top 25, probably 23-25 is the best case scenario for this class and more likely 30-35 area. Sorry but anyone that paid attention during the last year of Dooley knows this is exactly what happened. Even Dooley pulled in decent classes is first 2 and then couldn't get anyone worth a darn and lost major instate recruits. Butch allowed WAY TOO MANY 3*'s to publicly commit too early and then once we were nearing the max started losing games he shouldn't have with crappy coaching and lost players too. Neither of those are a good look to top recruits looking to commit to UT.

If was a 5* looking at UT, seeing a class full of 3* and a few questionable 4*'s and only 1-2 solid 4* players and only room to add me and maybe one other player I wouldn't feel too good about commiting here if I cared about winning any kind of championships. Then you add in the embarrassing losses, a coaching staff that doesn't look like it knows what its doing and players leaving mid-season. Yeah I'd be taking my talents else where too.

Good thing for UT that you are not a 5*

If we finish 23rd or worst, I will suck your ..... carpet with my new vacuum cleaner, my wife got 4 Christmas. Even if we don't add another player, this is still a top 15 class, give or take, a couple of spots. Now, if we start losing current commits, that, of course, can and will change.

Based off last years final class rankings our current total of 236.2 would have us finishing around 22nd this year if we don't add or lose anyone. Its NOT even close to top 15. Just reality.

Right now we are 6th in the SEC. We have the most total recruits out of anyone in the SEC. We also have the most 3* players. The on,y real reason we are ranked as high as we are now is because we have 26 commitments.

This class is shaping up to be a huge letdown. In reality, its barely a top 20 class.

Maybe you could take your talents elsewhere too??

Doesn't really matter until year 3. Then you see how many of the current 4* players are still there. If you lose 7 players and all are 2* and 3*, you actually have a better class than when you started.

Tuttle will not play in 2017. He'll take a medical redshirt and be back in 2018. Hopefully Kongbo continues to develop at DT and Alexis Johnson will be ready to play. McKenzie still needs to figure it out.
