Israel vs Palestinians

You should have said " now do birth defects due to inbreeding."

Some of the worst things a child can be born with are over 1000x more prevalent in muslim countries than the US. Kinda like the English and French royals did for centuries, marrying and having children with relatives. Its not a good idea.
Don't forget the birth defects there from exposure to white phosphorus.

Types of violence
  • Physical violence: Includes beating, kicking, punching, biting, burning, maiming, or killing. It can also include using objects or weapons.

  • Psychological violence: Includes emotional abuse, intimidation, or other threatening behavior.

  • Sexual violence: Includes physical or psychological acts that are committed without consent, or when the other person is unable to give consent. This includes sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

  • Verbal violence: Includes hate speech or other verbal abuse.

  • Socio-economic violence: Includes economic abuse.
Then yes I agree it would technically fall into terrorism because you can say that’s psychological violence

Personal opinion tho that’s very broad for terrorism and you would be able to classify a lot of things as terrorism that shouldn’t be.
Ex; Jan 6th

I just feel that’s a very slippery slope

No way to be 100% sure but given the politics of NYC students and the affinity groups and international students at a school like Columbia, I don't see why it would be anyone else. They also sound like students to me

The same students that prevented Jewish students from attending classes last year?

Either way, they’re sending a message to students in that class and it’s not a peaceful one.

Because he’s a suicide bomber, his intentions were to kill/cause harm to a mass number of people

Regardless of what their political motive is my personal opinion is that should be classified as Terrorism
I agree, a terrorist doesn't have to commit violence to be considered a terrorist. My opine is acts that spread terror makes you a terrorist.

What’s your definition of terror?
Tough question. I believe it's different for different people. For example, students dressed like radical Muslims (head scarf and full face cover) break into a class with backpacks could be construed to be terrorist in intent. Some students could fear for their lives and some could ignore it. How does one know this wasn't the starting of a school shooting?

I understand where you’re coming from… I just think that becomes a slippery slope that can backfire really easily. And if there’s nothing in those backpacks other than school stuff should they still be charged with terrorism?

If pro-lifers walks into an abortion clinic handing out pamphlets and talking about how abortion is murder and saying they’re going to hell for it. Is that terrorism? I don’t think so, but if you start charging people for instances like those it can easily be used as a political tool

How do you know the backpacks are empty until you don't? Pamphlets and words are just that. The intent of one is to scare based on a possibility of violence the other not so much. What if the bomb was a fake in my example? Point being, we no longer know intent many times until it is too late.

And if those backpacks have bombs in them charge them with terrorism. If they don’t then what?

I would bet a lot of money people in the abortion clinic would argue that they were intimidated and possibly even threatening. Which based off the definition above that would be violence

This exact conversation is why I think it’s too slippery of a slope and charging people with terrorism would be far too broad. We get a really far left looney in office and terrorist is gonna be thrown around alottttt for people on the right

I agree with empty backpacks but words and pamphlets nah. At a minimum arrest them, do thorough search of their person and dorm/apartment then release them. Same ole **** though, kid says he's going to shoot up a school and no one checks it out until there are dead kids.

Now that I can agree with. I think all threats should be taken seriously instead of ignored like so many are. Just have to be careful to not allow rights and freedoms to be infringed

I don't think you have a right to dress as a radical and barge into a classroom. Same as you don't have a right to yell fire in a theater. Our administrators are all liberals so making threats no matter how empty won't be checked out.

I don’t think you do either. Or to harass anyone, I think the harassment of Jews that have been tolerated across campuses for the past 2 years is despicable.

However in this instance going and searching their apartment if for no reason other than wearing head covers could be an invasion of privacy, no?

No. FAFO situation. You burst into a HS or MS that has an officer present dressed like that and you may not have to worry about it.

Any riotous mob that engages in violence to push a political position is terroristic in nature.

Both J6 and BLM would fit that description.

I’m not in favor of classifying either as Domestic Terrorists, but you can’t designate one without designating the other.

I agree, far too many things could be classified that shouldn’t be. And really just opens up a can of worms that could cause a lot of issues and be used as a political weapon
