Well, I'm not an overwrought, twitchy mess implying I'm much more intelligent than a person who enjoys a net worth and lifestyle that only 550 Americans have, and lives at the WH twice now.

Israel now asking Europe to take in the people THEY displaced. The people running Israel arent just evil but mad as well.

The US would be wise to just cut all ties to them. I am sure there are a lot of great Israelis but their government is the absolute worst.

I really don't believe what has been floated is the end game. I think this is a way of putting pressure on others to act to some other means. At least I hope it is.


Because the proposal that has been floated out there is horrible with very low chances of success............ only an idiot would place a bet.

Okay, for the record, none of this my business. Meaning, if everyone wants to duke out, well, I have no intention of getting in the middle of it.

Now for entertainment, if I were to look at this... it would seem like for long-term peace one of two things could happen.

1. they fight it out until most of the people in gaza are liquidated, seems like the most likely way on this current path
2. possibly find a place for these people to go and just turn the land into a parking lot of sorts

#2 might not work out for those people because they have been weaponized and don't know any other way of life, but at least it might give them a chance.

What else is there? I can't say I care for either side.

Both sides have said it’s to the death. Both sides have acted accordingly. Only a complete moron would think this is one side displacing another. We’ve tried for 70 years to push our ideals on them. It’s time for them to finish it themselves…..

I have yet to hear Trump say it would be our money, in fact the opposite. And no US troops would be used per his comments, yet many have repeatedly said as much.
As far as I can tell, at least it is something different, rather than the 50 years of repeated same ole same ole failed policies. Now who is the crazy one?

We’ve paid for both sides of this stupidity.
And have for……ever. It needs to stop.
They’re not going to listen to us. There will not now nor ever be a 2 state solution. Trump is just the latest in a long line that won’t change things over there

Nah, you’re somebody who d-rides Trump so hard you rationalize defending the indefensible. And it sounds good nowhere.

I’m not that concerned with how intelligent Trump is or isn’t. More than a few of his former Republican employees say he’s dumb and doesn’t like to read. But he’s intelligent enough to con you and a bunch of other people. Not sure who that says more about. I’m more concerned that he’s pretty transparently driven almost entirely by self-interest. We could talk about how that manifests itself in threats to allies, discouraging a ceasefire for political clout— any number of things. But it’s a waste of the finite minutes in my life, because you’ll defend whatever he does. It’s pretty gross, but it’s your prerogative.

That's what surprised me. If he said it as one of his throwaway comments off the cuff it would still be stupid but at least you could chalk it to Trump rambling. Seems like this is something they've put some thought into which imo is not good. USA doesn't need to be in charge of anything over there, doesn't need to waste any more time or money in that mess.
