Israel vs Palestinians

Apparently the ME is pretty extreme place huh? I’m certainly grateful we live here - our freedoms are unique, and rare.

Point was, the original tweet was clearly misleading when it portrayed an innocent little schoolgirl being “kidnapped for drawing flags”.
The way people are arrested there is a lot like kidnapping so it may not have been far off.
The last I read it was putting fliers on police cars and drawing a flag in her school book, both of which I'm sure would have done untold damage to the State. Let's see what comes out on it.
edit - Our freedoms are indeed rare. Ideally crazy Donnie won't try to weaken them. That said, he's not off to a good start in that respect.

Sounds like she was arrested for the police vehicle (and drawing flags).

But the tweet sounded much better saying kidnapped for simply drawing flags.

I see, I was looking at the initial post. Yes you did qualify your earlier comment with that 'primarily'.
It screams coexistence much more than what they're protesting.
And what is it that Israel is protesting via its military campaign?

The sexualized violence, torture and murder and desecration of Jews, including children. (Edit I forgot abduction and being held hostage)

Let's not forget where this chapter in the long story began.

Those protesting want you to forget, deny and ignore what immediately lead up to this. They routinely call for the end of Israel and call for death to Zionists........ Let's be clear what that means. Anyone that supports a Jewish state where it is should meet death. It's what they say it's what they believe. As long as you support Israel's existence you are their enemy. You can't coexist with that kind of popular rhetoric.

I'm convinced these people need to be separated, I'm just not sure how you do it.

I don't see how reconciliation fits there. Could you elaborate?
Reconciling how the same people have different lives, different behaviors, and different relationships with Jews based on where they live (Gaza or Israel). It seems to me the people who live in Israel and interact with Israelis everyday have radically different lives than those who do not. This would be hard to understand if Israel / Jews were homogeneous in how they view Arabs / Palenstinians.
