I take a more me attitude when it comes to foreign spending. Which countries benefit from our, the US, existence? Which countries wish us gone?

And if you give only to those who like us and need real help then how far does that spend drop? This would also include military bases covering the globe

Does need real help have to be the qualifier? If so spending would go down domestically and in foreign policy. Does strategically spending money on foreign policy not make more sense regardless of need?

No, our foreign policy of buying friends in crap. We can't afford to be the world policeman and wallet. Govt spending should be slashed and limited to only what's outlined in the Constitution

I'm not completly opposed to stopping all foreign aid. But the world will suffer as a result. Would you also cut domestic spending knowing people would suffer?

Others can step up worldwide.

How many would truly suffer domestically if it was truly earn or perish? Very few would need anything more than a job in that case

Oh I am sure there would not be an increase in crime against the innocent. Everyone would get a job, right? As Biden would say "come on man".

Then we'd have lots of extra money to combat it. I actually think you'd see a drop in ue rather than a serious jump in crime. People existed before the govt paid for everything

either way, generational cradle-to-grave dependence needs to end. I'd even remove the generational qualifier.

Private charity could and would do a better job

I am all for this but it is a dream. How many votes would a politician get if he said "I am stopping your money but it will be better for your descendants "? This is why true conservatives have trouble winning elections. No body is willing to suffer now to help the future.

I don't care about who wins an election. The last 2 winners for potus were Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Does it really get worse? Maybe if people started voting for ideas rather than their team color it wouldn't be such a dream

Actually nothing will change. Biden isn't running anything, he's shown nothing to make anyone believe he is leading, if anything he's being led.
