No, probably because the police have a tendency to go way further when there are Black people involvedWhy aren't these protests taking place on historically black campuses?
Because if these tents started standing in the way of students getting to class there would be some glorious @ss whoopings. That's why.
There's nothing in it for me and it will get me killed. Apparently hamas kidnapped the hostages to use as leverage to keep the IDF from doing something. It didn't work. But they thought there was something in it for them.I just found out there are hostages a little earlier today. I don't know why. I am assuming wrong place at wrong time.
Why aren't you stealing the cub (assuming you REALLY wanted to)?
Agreed. See the innate understanding of 'if I take her Cubs then there is nothing but pain and/or death in my future' as a deterrent is alive in all of us. We even respect it when we can't be killed but might have a bad day...like provoking a skunk. The animals aren't rational. There's no diplomacy or understanding. There is swift, brutal consequence. There's nothing in it for me and it will get me killed. Apparently hamas kidnapped the hostages to use as leverage to keep the IDF from doing something. That's essentially what happened to the professor. He was advised to bury the study by colleagues. He repeated the study a few times because he was shocked by the data.Haven’t seen it, but I suspect there are a lot of Black students and parents who have had or know of experiences with the police that don’t give a **** what the Harvard study says
We, or anybody else, couldn't pull it off without enough collateral damage to make for a vicious cycle.Agreed. That policy would work for us, too where hostages are concerned as long as our response is irrational, brutal, and swift.
On second thought, that study may have disproved fatal violence but upheld non fatal / bullying type violence against black people.Haven’t seen it, but I suspect there are a lot of Black students and parents who have had or know of experiences with the police that don’t give a **** what the Harvard study says
