Trouble in Zionist Paradise: Benny Gantz Threatens Resignation if Netanyahu Rejects New Gaza Plan
Israeli Cabinet minister Benny Gantz criticizes Israel's leaders for mishandling the war, highlighting a lack of coherent leadership since his National Party joined the emergency coalition.
Gantz proposes a six-point plan including the return of hostages, ending Hamas's rule, demilitarizing the strip, and establishing international civilian administration.
He also advocates for normalizing relations with Saudi Arabia and threatens to quit the government if his plan isn't adopted by June 8.
“A small minority took over the bridge of the Israeli ship, and is sailing it toward a wall of rocks,” Gantz said.
If Gantz leaves, Netanyahu would become more reliant on far-right allies advocating tough stances on ceasefire talks, hostage release negotiations, and the idea of Israel occupying Gaza to rebuild Jewish settlements, according to SkyNews.
