What do all the major conflicts or international crisises and have In common from the last 7 years?

Answer: They were all started the last 3 years during the Biden Administration.

* The Afghanistan Withdrawal debacle
* Russia - Ukraine
* Hamas/Iran - Israel
* Chinese spy balloon in the US

Now the international criminal court is attempting to issue an arrest warrant of a leader of a democratic society for the first time in history.

Does anyone honestly believe all these events would occur under Trump and the situations at this date and time would be the same? If so, that person would be naive at best.

Yes, they would have occurred. I definitely lean conservative. I've actually called out TDS several times on these forums. I've never carried water for Trump though.

1. Yes
Trump and his administration signed the withdrawal deal with Afghanistan.
Trump probably wouldn't have screwed it up as bad as Biden, but he was still the POTUS and CinC when the deal was signed. He should have required of the DoD to have a comprehensive withdrawal plan with contingencies in place before he ever signed the withdrawal agreement.

2. Yes.
Wouldnt have been NATO binding, but Trump probably would have let Putin have Ukraine and signed a treaty insuring peace with Putin. That would have been a good thing. I'm so old I remember 7-8 years ago when our media reported how Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries and full of Nazi's....
Ukraine isn't my problem and we aren't over there protecting democracy or western Europe. You know all the clean energy initiative we're always hearing about? Guess which side of the Dnieper river east Europe's largest supply of lithium and precious metals is on?

Trump was a coal and oil guy. He tried to tell Europe to get their own act together with defense spending. In 18/19 he threatened to pull our troops out of Germany if they didn't meet their NATO percentages. Merkel shrieked about Orange Man starting WW3 and all the MSM ran with it.

Trump was right on this one. I'd rather the US be energy independent and not spend billions funding Ukraine.

3. Double Yes.
The attack was planned and executed on the 50 year anniversary of the Yom Kippur War. It had nothing to do with who our POTUS was.
Trump is certainly no warmonger, but he might be the most pro-Israel President we've ever had.
I think he may even have found a way to entangle us with boots on the ground.

4. Yes.
Unarmed spy craft has always been accepted, particularly aerial. Nothing we don't do. We even had a few dog fights with the Soviets, during the height of the coldwar, while flying in and out of each others air space. Tit-for-tat, no biggie. You risk losing your craft and having your technology reverse engineered.
In a warped way, It can even help prevent serious escalation. In 1975 the Soviets shot down an off course Korean passenger plane with a member of congress in it.
Our brass pretty much admitted that if we weren't always violating their airspace and testing them, they probably wouldn't have acted so defensively and shot it down.


Trump is a better candidate than Biden, but that doesn't mean he's a good option. I'll throw my vote away before I vote for either.

Well, I would say the cold war ended because the USSR ran out of $ and couldn't maintain its vast empire. Not because Reagan made a speech. Israel is an ally. USSR was not. That's a false equivalency

In both historical cases, POTUShas plenty of power to shape Israeli action. Don't carry his bloody water

I think you missed something. No edit needed.

POTUS can have plenty of power to shape Israeli action. I'd call it soft diplomacy, or the ability to get results without a stick. I gave my rankings. Biden didn't make the cut.

POTUS can halt, indefinitely suspend or temporarily block foreign aid by a few different mechanisms. At the end of the day, it's Congress's decision before POTUS. If POTUS can't corral congress to amend the aid, it goes to SCOTUS to decide. Reagan wasn't bluffing, Bidens already had his bluff called.

Wasn't trying to carry water for Reagan. He gets credit for reunifying Germany /s, but everybody knows Rocky won the cold war(with his fists...) /s

Biden is the one proposing congress do it, like the emergency aid that just passed a month ago. That was his idea. He has plenty of power to shape our policy and is using it to lead congress to help kill babies.

I don't think we're in disagreement. Maybe we're talking past each other and making different points.

I interpreted the pic (tweets and journal excerpt) you posted as implying Biden could presently pic up the phone and bring about an almost immediate ceasefire. I find that to be a huge oversimplification and innacurate.

I agree Biden is enabling Israel to pursue the war on their terms.
