Yes, politicians benefit from hyperbolic statements all the time........ It's how they get elected year after year. It's how they sway public opinion and a cheap way to win arguments.

Yes in general politicians lie a lot, we agree.
Is there any benefit to these two to lie about this particular issue and if so, what is the benefit?

That “Jews will not replace us” is from Christian Nationalists and was directed at the Charlottesville city government, no? I believe they were chanting that during the C'ville protest.
‘Convert or die’ isn’t orthodox Muslim or modern Christian dogma. It’s used by lunatics like ISIS but then they’re lunatics.
You need to get out more if you really believe that most are **** humans.

To win a stupid argument and sway public opinion.

Do I think we value what has been our staunchest ally in the ME, have we asked at time what their thoughts/position were on certain intelligence or official positions? Yes. Do we walk on eggshells around their wishes and defer to their will? No.
