It’s Already Started…

I’ll wait until halftime to start complaining about the officiating, thank you very much.

They sure as hell seem to love Bama
No, Bama just happens to have been so good over Saban's tenure that they've been able to make bad calls irrelevant to the outcome of their games. Just like Georgia under Smart. Ohio State. Michigan. Other great teams over the years.

As every coach will tell you, play well enough to where the officials don't matter and you don't have to worry about it.

I bet the Bama boards are having a field day reading you cry babies preemptively blaming the refs...pretty weak.
You mean like Bama did last year????Hey I don’t want know preferential treatment but them non pass interference calls last week were horrendous. I don’t think they are cheating for one team or another but the refs have made a ton of terrible calls and no calls in a lot of college games this year. Not just Tennessee, I have heard many fan bases complaining it’s not a Tennessee thing like you make out. But I agree all you can do is go play. GBO

Yeah, it is unusual that the home team continuously gets the bad end of the deal as many times as we have this year. It's a bit harder to overcome when its against a Bama or UGA. Hopefully, things will be more even for the remainder of the season.

Obviously concerned about refs, but am truly more concerned about us getting out of our habitual presnap penalties where opposing crowd noise impacts our offense. If we eliminate these and keep from being behind the sticks, it will be one major factor for keeping our offense on the field.

In four home games, the Bammers were penalized 2 times (MTSU), 10 times (Texas), 6 times (Ole Miss), and 5 times (Arkansas). They also got flagged 11 times in last year's Tennessee game. Our speed created penalties. Interesting to see if that speed causes the same number of penalties this year in their own house.

Also, Tennessee's strength is the run game, so if we get called for multiple holding fouls early in the game - we'll know what's up.
Yep you will and in the past those bummer goons killed our drives. FACT

Oddly the Bama fans are already all over facebook blaming last year’s loss on the refs. Saying they hope they don’t get last year’s refs again.

Lol
Their bitching doesn't even cover the past sins of refs in this series since saint nick has been there. They have covered for his ass for many a year in SEC.

What dam- speed? There are several teams playing faster than the Vols this year. You can go no faster than the plays come in AND no faster after that than your QB can figure out what his options for the play are.

To the man who cuts the checks and does the hiring and firing of SEC zebras goes the spoils. And he’s located just outside downtown B’ham. If you beat Bama at home, you really gotta beat ‘em. They’re not going to allow the Tide to lose a close one at home.

When I've watched Bama play other teams, I clearly see ref's being bias toward Satan's team. Almost like they are in awe of his greatness and scared to get a negative report from him. And it doesn't really matter the total number of flags, it matters most if those flags affect the outcome which they clearly do. A 5 yard off sides penalty in the first quarter is not equal to a first and goal penalty for holding late in the 4th quarter.

Yeah man, the refs are against Tennessee.

It's why they suck in every game Tennessee isn't apart of too.

Perhaps it's just because A. they're not very good and B. officiating a game played at this speed is hard?

Hmm..

Nah, must be that they hate Tennessee.

I don't buy into this conspiracy theory either but I remember Pruitt complaining the year we played at AL that whenever TN got to the 20 yd line, offensive holding started being called that were not before. This is an AL guy complaining in Tusc so he must have seen something suspicious.

Bama wins by a td because PI is called when Bama WR drops pass because TN DB touched him with a pinkie.

The refs missed calls against us as well
@ BTO is right!!!!
You may not like it or want to hear it, but here goes, ...
The real issue is training and explicit instruction! Phrases like, 'Don't take over the game.' 'Don't decide the game.' ... end up affecting the game. Because they become 'afraid' to make a call for appearing to affect the outcome of the game.
Or as a ref on here has stated, The refs are selected and specifically sent to a game to deliver a message to the coaches and reign in behavior that the office has determined is unacceptable.

Bama has given up 31 sacks so far. The defense is already around them before they have time to hold 😂

When coaches at UT , Kiffin and Pruitt both made comments about the refs favoring Bama.
