When some Vol wins it (hopefully Milton), they should make a point in their acceptance speech to accept the award also in the names of Johnny, Peyton, and Hendon who were absolutely robbed

I happened to catch a vols highlight of the 22 season on youtube the other day. One of the things that stood out to me was seeing how much more under control Milton was when he was in the game. I firmly believe that with Heupel and Halzle, they have worked with Milton to get him more in control of his throws. I think we are about to see the results of that coaching. Should be fun to watch.

I'm hoping for the best from Milton. I really am.

Kind of hard to translate his last year's performance over until this year though. Removing the last two games, he was in at mop up time when the game was well outta hand. Basically, pressure on him for large majority of last season was 0.

Truth be told, we are not gonna know what we have in Milton 2023 version until week 3 when the bullets start flying. Virginia will not be much of a game nor will week 2. Milton goes into Florida and comes out with a win and solid performance, the sky is the limit.
