It is time we stop claiming Florida and Pittsburgh as good wins

Florida and Pittsburgh are NOT ranked teams nor will they be anytime soon. Pittsburgh maybe one of the worse teams in the ACC right now and it took overtime to beat them.

Florida is 4-3 and about to be 4-4

Those games are actually embarrassing that we didn't beat both teams by 3+ TDs.

I, for one, am deeply embarrassed by our 7-0 start and our early inability to dominate those teams despite the loaded roster Pruitt left behind for Heupel. If anyone asks me how our Vols are doing, I'll tell them that we're 5-2 (to account for these moral losses).

Going back to '85, I've seen Tennessee beat Florida only a handful of times, and I had never seen them beat Pitt. I intend to enjoy watching this team of overachievers without any complaint.

With today's win, the Vols just played their way out of the Music CityBowl. That alone should be a reason to celebrate.

I didn't say that I wasn't exciting, I just think we need to show more humility. It took overtime to beat a mediocre ACC team. Maybe SEC isn't as strong as we think since Pitt was able to slow our offense down, something no one in the SEC has been able to do to date.

The “Pitt is bad and we barely beat them” argument goes out the window when we’ve beaten Alabama and throttled a really good LSU team.

We played a bad game against Pitt man, get over it. Burrow’s incredible LSU team in 2019 almost lost to a terrible Texas team early in the season. Clearly we’ve worked some kinks out since then.

South Carolina is probably the only scary team after we get by Georgia. I don't think Mizzou and Vandy have an offense that can beat us. South Carolina could beat us if we just have our worse game of the season. I think we win all three though.

I actually think we can go 12-0 but it may get us a rematch with Alabama in Atlanta and I don't think we can beat them a second time.
