I really wish we hadn't have moved the game to late in the year. Games late in the year generally favor the deeper team and that's usually them.
October had become a gauntlet. A game had to move to November and Auburn was obliging to switch Georgia dates. It made sense.

I think we'd have been better off moving the Florida game to November, make the Sunshine State boys play us in cold weather every other year.

We better get significantly better on both lines of scrimmage if we are going to beat Georgia they have manhandled us upfront the last two years and that’s where you really see the difference in the depth between us and them and all the 4 and 5 Star guys they have over us.

We are beating GA, no doubt in my mind.
Never happen. I know this bc we plan on paying the grounds keeper at Neyland to ensure that the grass is .15275 in too high. Thus likely causing minor injuries to TN’s top 2 receivers. This and only this will give us the edge we need. But if this doesn’t work, we will just try to find a way to make sure your kicker can’t make a field goal over 49 yards.

Just a friendly joke, no ill will intended. I honestly expect a good game. I do agree with a few others here that the biggest on the field factors are likely to be the LOS and QB play. Which are not mutually exclusive.

GA does have a depth and talent advantage for now, but playing in Neyland absolutely gives the Vols an edge. Especially after what happened last year at Sanford. It’s true that Neyland is potentially the loudest stadium in the country. I expect the Vol faithful will be out to prove this against GA this season.

Coming in to the Alabama game last year, no one gave Tennessee a chance of winning, yet we all know the outcome. Any team can lose a game they are predicted to win, remember S.C. This Tennessee team is so different than the Butch or JP teams. They actually believe they are going to win, regardless of the uniform the other team is wearing. I believe Tennessee will come out prepared and anxious to prove something against Georgia.

Neyland ranked # 2;)

I never 'fear' uga. I have no respect for the program. And aside from a few tolerable fans (eg DirtyDawg), absolutely no tolerance for that whiny, needy fanbase either. Their stadium is nondescript (it has bushes in it....yay?) and aside from grown men dressing in S&M garb in the stands, it has no traditions. Everyone knows (and many hate) Rocky Top, but outside of Athens, who even knows what the uga fight song is?? Heck, they even use the Green Bay helmet, and had to ask permission to do even that.

They will likely win this year, and that will do nothing to my attitude. I despise Bama, UF, etc, but I have respect for them. I have none for uga. Just a trash program all around.

One thing hurts us against Georgia is that we're no doubt the toughest game on their calendar.

They won't over look us.

We'll need them to make some mistakes to win that game.
