Yeah they might want to check with their own Coach Nate Oats…he’s on record last year saying he has so much respect for Rick Barnes and the quality of people and culture he employs at his program that he desires Alabama pattern their program after the Vols.

Contrary to popular belief, it is a physical sport as long as the refs don’t turn it into the ballet. It’s very simple. You see what the refs will allow and adjust accordingly. Bama didn’t adjust.

Exactly. I remember playing in the church leagues in East Knoxville back in the late 70s early 80s. This was largely high school teams that stayed intact after graduation. There was one team we played I called “the Russians“. A bunch of huge, ugly white guys that would beat the living crap out of you (think a whole team of Uros’s) and never a whistle would blow…I just tried to be fast enough not to get pummeled.
