I wasn't trying to be an ass. And there is a difference between discussion/opinion and ridiculous bickering. A huge majority of the arguments you get into don't serve any purpose other than to prove that you are right, rather than accepting someone's opinion. It just gets annoying when that's happening in just about every thread.

I don't go to the football forum because I don't know football well enough to be able to intelligently discuss it. I always thought we were trying to be different than the football forum. It seems like that's not the case at times.

I've been here for 2 years as a member and another 2 before as a lurker. I am very aware of what a message board is.

my apologies. i posted the article for the sole purpose of a discussion, it immediately got discredited because the writer made a mistake. i didnt see it as a big deal, and thought that it was still a valid discussion point. like i said, i admit to getting carried away sometimes, and i apologize.

no im hoping this never turns into the football forum, i was just saying dont venture there. its a slow time, and i'll try to not let things eat at me, hopefully season gets here quick and we'll have PLENTY to discuss then.
