Both Donnie and DeSantis speaking at CPAC here in Orlando next month.

Will be interesting to see the dynamic. Does DeSantis kiss his ring, to keep the base in tow? How does he do that and keep 2024 open for himself?

Will Donnie back off of his jabs at DeSantis? Go for broke with the insults?

And really wondering who will speak first and whether it's viewed as an advantage or disadvantage to do so.

DeSantis will be respectful but not bow down by any means.

Rent free.......

Just wanted to say it to see how it feels. It feels pretty stupid - just as it sounds.
Biden will do less harm to the dem party than trump to the repub party.
For all of those out there who hate the two party system, if these two guys can't destroy it, I don't know what can.
Biden has ALREADY done more harm to his Party than Trump ever did to his. Check the current polls. Democrats even trail on the generic confessional preference poll. I can’t even remember the last time that happened. Do you really think it is a coincidence that almost 30 Democrats have announced retirement from Congress?
And as regards the two party system, it is the natural state for a non parliamentary democracy. You may replace a party from time to time; but there will ALWAYS be only 2 that matter

This ^. DeSantis’ path to the nomination is as party unifier. He will not needlessly attack and will present himself as the one who can focus Laser like on the Big Prize, defeating Biden

If you put country over party you wouldn't let your emotions override your common sense.
Are you a walking cliché ?

If you perceived depth, you wouldn't confuse emotion with reason.
I think for continued comfort in your black and white existence, you've chosen to conclude that gray can only be seen with emotion.

Biden's unpopularity does not harm the party, it's actually a sign that the party is well.
On the other hand, Trump's popularity within the republican party is the ultimate sign that the party is in disarray.

So…..the Party projected to lose more seats than in any election in the last Century is fine….and the party that is about to hand them that defeat is in disarray?
Sure, run with that if it makes you feel good

Lol it’s the reasons that the party of Dems don’t like Biden that shows the party is not healthy , they don’t think he’s gone far enough left . They can’t get their progressive agendas met .

Do you believe the stuff you spew out of your mouth?

James Carville, a Democrat with some common sense, once said “it’s the economy, stupid”. Many are feeling the pinch of rising inflation and Biden and the Democrats are going to pay at the polls. They have been completely oblivious to the issues affecting most Americans or have been on the wrong side of those issues.

His name stays in the conversation.

Let's be honest the Democratic party's main guns are head scratchers at best: Beto (failed senate and soon to be failed governor campaigns), Stacy Abrams (failed governor campaign), Pete B (mayor of a mid-sized city). I am surprised they haven't trotted out a city councilman yet or a school board member.

The really ridiculous thing is that maybe their strongest candidate isn’t even a member of the Party (Bernie). Dems/libs…..putting the “fun” in dysfunctional since 1917 😂

They were able to pull Obama from local/state politics. Don't rule that out for them.

You left out Ted Williams. I hear he is available.

Not true. You've admitted you just vote for whomever the Dems tell you to.
lol........You know I've never admitted any such thing, which kinda makes your comment what Trump would call an alternative fact but what most people would call a lie.

You guys do seem vested in trying to drive that falsehood home. I can only conclude that it is necessary in order for you to keep things aligned which really to not.

When was the last time you voted in a federal election that didn't have a D or any variation of it beside their name? I will hang up and listen

You can pick the phone back up, there was really no need to hang up in the first place.
I have voted D in every presidential election since 1980. I would love to see some better options for a change, maybe '24.

I hope you don't giggle as if that is some kind of gotcha.

You voted for Biden and Clinton when those primaries were fixed. You did as you were told by your party
