Thank you so much and here's hoping your wife stays cancer free. I'm scared to death but Laura comes from a family of fighters. Her Grandmother fought Multiple Sclerosis from 1966 to 2014 I kid you not. She suffered everyday but never lost her resolve. She swore she would live to see her kids and grandkids grow up and she did. Lauras mom had a heart attack and coded on the way to the ER. They shocked her back after 4 mins plus. She had to have 7 bypasses. That was in late 2001 and she is still up and kicking here in 2018 Lauras Grandfather survived two tours in Korea He would tell you that a Chines machinegun took most of his left hand and that damn Korean winter took 3 of his toes lol but they learned quick not to mess with an American boy with a fiance waiting for him. He also fought and beat skin cancer. He was the type of man that you can only hope that you can become. A mans man with a big heart. It was a honor to say I knew him.My wife was diagnosed with metastatic thyroid cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes a year and a half ago. A slow growing form of cancer, but the word cancer scares anyone. She is 18 months cancer free now, and it is my sincere hope and prayer that you one day can testify the same to another hurting Vol brother/sister going through what you are your wife are going through. Stay strong, let this draw you back to the Lord and seek Him and His peace and wisdom.
Okay I'm getting my composure back now. I'm so sorry nation. I feel like I just vomited up poison. Thank you for bearing with me. I won't lie that panic attack came out of nowhere.

Thank you so much and I know as long as she's breathing there is hope. She's fighting back like a champ. It's awe inspiring at times. She is the strongest person I've ever known. I just had a moment of panic earlier. They happen from time to time. It tends to happen when everything is quiet and I have time to be alone with my thoughts. I just had to keep typing till it passed.Praying for your wife, you, and your children right now. Someone very close to me was diagnosed with cancer this past spring. It was bad news, good news, bad news, good news, etc... just an emotional roller coaster. Anyway, I was hoping for six months longer with her.....Here we are 8 months later with a better prognosis than we could have asked for. Things may seem hopeless at times, but don't give up. We quit worrying about the diagnosis and the prognosis and just started taking care of each other.
