No, you're only focused on the consequences (dying from a contagious disease). I fully understand that people are susceptible to succumbing to a communicable disease at any time. The idea is that now they are susceptible to every disease that normally exists as well as Covid-19, which is highly contagious and has infected millions and killed more than 100,000 people in the U.S. in a few months. Thus, taking some minor risk mitigation actions (e.g., keeping your distance from people, washing your hands frequently, and wearing a mask in public) can be reasonably justified.

I honestly don't understand why people are adamantly against it. I'm not for government mandated mask wearing but it strikes me something that courteous people would do voluntarily to help prevent the spread of the virus. It doesn't have to be about politics.

I believe he said “ masks “ didn’t see Walgreens in the post . It would be quite the claim to say an obstructed airway gets the same O2 intake as an unobstructed one . Thats before we get into moisture and particles clogging up those micro pathways .
