Remember Thomas said we were in the lead before he heard about the NCAA investigation and the sanctions

If we were to come off with a small punishment then he could possibly change his mind

The way things are looking as far as not getting any resolve til April, even in the spring signing period things are going to be tough as nails to get someone of that calibur to pledge to the Vols. Nothing would surprise me, and like I mentioned immediately after he announced his decision, if he doesn't sign in the early signing period we do have a legit shot IMO at getting him converted to orange.

Go Vols!!!

If it isn't resolved until April, at least we wouldn't have to worry about the 2011 postseason.

I'm not sure what I would rather have happen. Not have to worry about this post-season, or feel more secure about our talent level going forward

At no time does he say UT was in the lead. Memphis Magic + Penny Hardaway+hometown love= done deal. Pearl never really had a chance.

No way we are still in consideration by Thomas. He is Memphis bound. We aren't likely to get a commitment from any high level player for this season after BBQgate.
