We can beat Ball.St. Bowling Green, Tenn-Martin Vandy, Mizzou and maybe Kentucky with Milton as the QB. Do you honestly think we would’ve beat Pitt, Florida, LSU and Bama with Milton instead of Hooker? Honestly now. I hope we got Nico ready to roll next fall or Jackson wins the job cause I know what I’m getting with Joe at this point the coaches can’t change them at this point in his career he is what he is not a very QB. You can’t hide your QB’s weakness in this league either not against the really good teams anyway. This fanbase will not tolerate falling back to 6-6 or 7-5 next season and I’m telling you now that’s what will happen with Joe as the QB.

I absolutely think we could have won those games with Milton. The coaches have already improved Milton and more coaching will only improve him more. Can’t wait to see Milton make you and others look dumb next year.

No way dude we would’ve gone 6-6 or 7-5 with Milton starting all season. Hooker was that much better than him and that much of a difference maker for the team. He was a special player and should really win the Heisman imo. We are really gonna miss him next season.

I think it depends on if the defense improves or not. We’ll definitely need them to and to rely on the run game more if we want a shot at 8-4. I wasn’t too impressed with what little I saw with Jackson.
Hard to start a true freshman in the SEC regardless of how ready Nico is. I’m afraid it’s gonna be just like the first two games of the 2021 season, Heupel will roll with Milton to start the season then realize it’s not working and pull him for the next QB up. I hope we can land a decent QB in the transfer portal and I don’t expect our offense to be as good and explosive next season as this year so our defense def needs to improve significantly.

You are wrong. And you will see. Milton will be good next year.

I thought we were a better team last night with good defense, an effective run game, and a threat of beating the defense deep. It was obvious that their defense could not make the right choices to stop our balanced offense.

It was Vandy.
They also chose to play a guy who should be a WR @ QB. Like every other team we've beaten, they even chose to try and grind it out on the ground and slow the game. Bama(Q2,3,4) & USC gave everyone the pattern to beat us. Vandy refused to play the throwing QB and try. Dumb.

Hooker is more accurate on deep balls than Milton so I fail to see oyur point.

The first Vandy qb presented no threat whatsoever of throwing the ball over our heads. He had no arm. That meant our dbs could play closer to the line and help stop the run. If they had a qb who can throw the ball 60 or 70 yards down the field - whether he was extremely accurate or not - our dbs would have to give their receivers cushion and then couldn't help in the run game. On Sat nite, Milton hit Squirrell with a 60 yard pass right out of the box. That sticks in a db's memory. It's real simple to understand.

Even if we got in...we would get put out quickly.
Oh okay no need to play now since you said that.🤣It just kills me how some folks just say no way in such absolutes. In college sports anything can happen. It’s a team game, if Young was out for Bama they would still be pushing they deserve it. I have seen teams step up when the star went out and win before. Here’s to Joe Milton going out and showing out in bowl season or wherever we are. GBO

Throw your shade all you want we came out and responded the way a true team does. We ran all over them, you can’t make no excuse for that. They ran on Kentucky and Florida but they couldn’t on us, you can’t make no excuse for that either. We came out and played inspired and the teams body language was all you needed to see to tell you we came to play. We finished the season at 10-2 and we have a very strong resume this year. Great building blocks going into year 3. GBO!!!!

That’s your opinion, I look forward to watching Milton in the bowl game. I trust our staff will figure it all out. GBO

With Hyatt and squirrel out there 2 4.3 guys and a guy that can throw it 70 yards, we have a chance.

If Milton can keep the ball in the same zip code with those receivers. Two nice deep balls last night. One caught by Hyatt, One was dropped, but well thrown. The rest never had a chance. He’s got to find the Governor on that bazooka of his.

Honestly this team was phenomenal this year up until one game. I said at beginning of the season if Hooker had an off game we we’re screwed. I don’t think Carolina was necessarily a bad game for him but he wasn’t as good as usual. I think we have really good leadership in our coaches and AD but I think maybe it hasn’t quite seeped down into the lockerroom yet. You’ve got a few guys that hold everyone accountable and if they go down the wheels fall off. Need everyone or at least most everyone to have a high level of personal accountability and to keep everyone else striving to do their best.
Let get it straight... the south Carolina game was NOT on hooker....
The defense had 1 stop all night. They scored touchdowns on every possession but 1. That's completely and emphatically on the defense.

efus50,You are damn right. We didn't have two normally starting receivers and yet all year we had Ramel-I'll catch anything Keyton,Walter, give me the quick in Merrill, and Squirrel,me andJalen can set the grass on fire White, with a quarterback who can throw the ball 75 yards in a downpour and dime a 15-20 yard crossing pass, with linemen who ten deep can open holes for our leadfooted rb's to go. 83,80,52,50 yards. No without Hendon we don't have a chance against a suckeye, various cat forms. We can go with ANYBODY.And,we never, ever quit.
