I voted for Bush twice. I wouldn't call either of those votes a mistake (given the choices) but he has screwed up worse than I ever could have imagined.

honestly, had he put brakes on domestic entitlement spending, I wouldn't have the problems with him that I do.

I'm responding directly to you calling out those of us who voted for Bush.

As far as Bush being the most unpopular president "in history" goes, who cares? If your view of history is so myopic and you can forget about what happened during Carter then that's your problem.
Might be myopic but atleast I stay on topic :)

Real, do you feel BO will get out of Iraq any faster than McCain would have?
If BHO plans to follow through on his desire to completely destroy the Taliban and hunt down OBL, then he will have little choice other than to precipitously withdraw our troops from Iraq.

I believe many of the troops will probably look forward to fighting in Afghanistan. After all, it would be against an enemy that attacked us. However, history, along with the current struggle against such foreign and harsh terrain, shows me that it will be an incredibly difficult task with very little return on our investment.

As long as Iraq has a budget surplus they can pay for their own defense, or we can leave. That's the avenue I would take to get out of there. Plus they want us out anyway.

That depends on who you ask.

Those that will face certain reprisal because of their religious affiliations would most certainly disagree with you.
