Obviously not going to be this. Feel like everyone can get a ton of minutes this upcoming season depending on how practices go and stuff. That’s the main point of this…kind of showing the depth we have.

A ton of flexibility with guys being able to play multiple positions. Should be fun seeing the lineups and where the guys will fit

It will be interesting to see the HANDLES that each of these guys bring, and IF that moves us to a more POSITIONLESS team concept, especially 1-4 in transition. I wonder if our possession time drops due to a willingness to fire up more shots during primary and secondary breaks IF IF IF we find these guys get more boards.

Kind of hoping that these guys earn and use green lights rather than deferring to a central scorer, and our big is in fact more aggressive up close with space created by defenses having to close out on 4 positions before we actually enter our more common half court sets. A nice mix of 3 balls and drives to the hole EARLY by ALL would be great.

Need a guy like Chaz to lead the way to grab attention to create space for others. Thrilled he signed on. A little team cohesiveness could really make this squad explosive by versatility. ZZ leading the pack is encouraging.

Good points. The gravity that Chaz should have will create a lot of open looks, and I agree that having a number of players willing to shoot early in the shot clock will be huge. And the presence of a legit lob threat like Okpara will be lethal, and is hopefully something ZZ is already working with him on.

Defensively, having a 'positionless' lineup and an athletic big will allow Barnes to switch at will without being subject to mismatches. This will hopefully be a much better rebounding team on both ends, limiting those second chance points that killed us last season and creating transition opportunities.

Yep, that is why HANDLES is so important for the mix on the floor and COULD dictate substitutions patterns when offense is the driver, not so much when defense is, when matchups will dictate mix and we are willing to slow it down.

So many unknowns about how all the newbies talents translate at this level. Hard to establish ceilings until we get to see them live after summer and pre-season in games against quality opponents. Like the POTENTIALS though. I will guard against establishing expectations when hopes are more appropriate. Analytical arrogance can lead to unnecessary heartbreak and embarrassing public displays.
