What? I acknowledged nothing. I said he may or may not be the workhorse, we simply don't know! That was the point. Hell he may show up in a prom dress every day. We have no way of knowing.

And why would it be a problem if he were a workhorse? There goes those goalposts! He either does nothing or does too much. There is so much sexism in this whole hate the spouse deal. Why this suspicion of Jon and not Joy? Or for God sakes Sam, when sh*tty hs recruiting is obviously what's eating this program alive? I actually like them both but just wonder why so much venom is directed at Jon. I don't get it.

Not saying I’ve seen every recruit’s tweet but most of the time, you’ll see their coach, handler, parent mention that Kellie was there to see them or Sam, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them mention Joy, but I can’t recall ever seeing them mention him at a tournament or circuit watching a player or at their school visiting. Maybe he goes along with Kellie? I’m not sure.

It’s interesting that you mention that we don’t know what they do, but it seems like we always knew who did what on Pat and even Holly’s staffs. I could be wrong, but it seemed that way,

I really like KJ. She is a VFL. I believe that she is a good game coach. But she has not proven to be a good recruiter. You can have all the game plans that you want but if you do you not have the horses for the race you cannot win.

We knew in general the areas of responsibility of Pat's staff just like we know that about Kellie's. But this is about a poster's claim that whatever Jon's responsibilities are, he doesn't fulfill them. Says he doesn't pull his weight and only steals a paycheck from UT. And we simply don't know that, any more if we knew how much Holly or Mickie contributed day to day.

Quite a few people just can't get over a hubby working for his wife, even though there are two other hubby/wife combos just in the SEC.

If he’s the “workhorse” as you stated we have bigger problems

And for the record, they all are out of their league. He’s the one constant on the staff for a mediocre head coach.

i don’t agree that he does nothing, although not sure how much any of them are helping. I think you mentioned before, but which group does Jom coach? I have seen a lot of confusion on that on here.

Posts. So does Joy. Jon works w Rickea alot during games. Joy works w TK alot. Someone needs to work with poor Jill.

Pat Summit was close to being lured away from Tennessee by KY but they couldn't come together on key pieces of the contract. There's one thing I learned to never say.. and that's "Never say never"

lol if that’s your goal is to just make and lose in the sweet 16 every year instead of win championships then Harper is the one…….

I believe Pat’s father told her she did not have horses to win big. She got Mickie DeMoss to get the horses to compete. Of course you have to coach even the best players to win championships.

5-2 now with LSU, USC twice and tournament. Year one was a log jam at 3rd, we weren’t there alone/outright.
