he's a lousy public speaker, boring, and not nearly as slick. Hillary on the other hand is disliked by many and therefore gives the repubs a chance.

I just don't see one person in this election that will do any good for the US. Seems America is getting dumber while the politicians take advantage

Polling prior to SuperTuesday lends some support to this feeling.

Obama does a bit better against McCain than Clinton does.

McCain can beat Obama, but it's going to come down on who he picks to be his VP. If he picks Huckabee or Giuliani, he's doomed, but if he picks someone like Fred Thompson or even Romney, then he has a chance of moving into the White House.

Debates between McCain and Obama will be ugly and one-sided, but McCain is at least able to string together sentences containing multi-syllable words and not mangle the language while doing so.

Absolutely agreed, and the debate synopsis between Obama, and McCain will be interesting to say the least. You will have such stark contrast of person, the old experienced veteran(literally in every way), against the young up and comer, old ideas, new ideas(whether they are or not is of no consequence, it will be spun that way). Do you roll the dice and vote for new and fresh, or fall back on old reliable?

The people that were in line voting yesterday were a bunch of mouth-breathers that were more concerned about the paint chipping on the gymnasium walls than the inevitable collapse of this once great republic.

I used to be sad about the future of this country... now I just accept it. McCain... Hillary... gObama... Romney... you can throw all their names in a hat and you get the same result... moving towards the left. Only thing we're voting on is how fast we want to get there.

Completely agree. Obama will be the next president, barring some skeleton in Obama's closet we don't know about it.

I've said all along that the only way the republicans had a chance was with hilary but I think I'd take Obama over the risk of having hilary

I just worry that Obama is all Muslim. I hate that crap.

Here's something all of America should see before calling this guy a Muslim.

"While studying here, my father met my mother. She was born in a town on the other side of the world, in Kansas. Her father worked on oil rigs and farms through most of the Depression. The day after Pearl Harbor my grandfather signed up for duty; joined Patton?s army, marched across Europe. Back home, my grandmother raised their baby and went to work on a bomber assembly line. After the war, they studied on the G.I. Bill, bought a house through F.H.A., and later moved west all the way to Hawaii in search of opportunity."

So Obamas grandparents on his mothers side BOTH supported this country in its hour of need. Basically you have bought into Clinton smear tactics that blame a person for the position his father took.

I don't disagree with your patriotism arguments...but couldn't he still be a Muslim and have these ties? I understand that he apparently isn't a Muslim...but I'm sure that many Muslims have made sacrifices for this country.
