I've seen a lot of concerns about offensive commits....

Right now, Alabama, Florida, and LSU are killing the rest of the conference with verbals.

We should win all non-conference games this year. That's 4 wins, plus you can more than likely count UK and Vandy. Putting us at 6 minimum. The rest of our games are all winable. With wins over AU, UGA, and good showings or wins against UF and UA, those that are straddling the fence or have UT in their top teams will commit to us, or possibly even decommit and become a Vol. So, it's going to come down to our performance this sason to sway those top recruits into believeing that UT is back.

I refuse to believe Crompton is as bad as he looked last year.

Im with Sab here. A Wr on the team told me JC is better then he performed last season. All we need is him to be AVERAGE. AVERAGE could possibly get us to a new years day bowl. Just enough of a throwing threat to keep the D from only playing the run and we will be fine.

No D1 quarterback could have been that bad... that was THE worst run offense I have ever seen anywhere let alone at my school. If Florida could have selected an offensive coordinator for us they would not have picked any worse.
I gotta believe that Chaney will make a huge difference with Crompton this coming season.

you need to cill and go take a cold shower.

It's all true. This isn't a deal where we need to play games to show our offense. Any recruit curious as to the offense we are going to run can look at some game footage of USC. It is the same damn scheme.

This is a situation where we are missing on the top targets this year -- not because we sucked last year or because they haven't seen our offense. It is because there are so few good QBs in this class to choose from. We are lucky in that most of the top QBs have at least given us a look or some consideration. That speaks to the ability of this recruiting staff.

Plus most of the good QBs are scattered out and the majority are on the West Coast. Brunetti was in our backyard and we weren't on him early enough.

If we land Scroggins, all will be forgiven. It doesn't even matter who #2 is if we secure him. I do think they take an additional QB but it may not be who you think...
