Should've learned a lesson or two from Vivek. Had huge upside to prob still be in the running. Said so many right things early on. Then kept talking too much instead of sticking to the core message. I was disappointed that he knocked himself out.

Vice presidents rarely move any presidential elections.

The people Vance appeals to are those who were already gonna vote drumpf. Waltz brings some left-wing voters back out to the polls and possibly some not-so-left-wing. Passed legalization of marijuana in his home state, polls state that 70% or more Americans want it legalized. He also passed free school lunches, which, other than some right-wing voters, gets lots of support as well. You know the whole feed hungry school children thing can be hard to disagree with at times.

As previously stated, I'm not sure the vice president really has much impact, but if Harris takes some of his ideas, then she will excite more progressives and maybe some more of those important middle-of-the-road voters.

I'm in agreement, as a progressive/socialist/left wing loonie. Hopefully it will carry into congress, let's give peace a chance, at least in our country.
