...is apparently transferring from Arizona to Vanderbilt.

Not as a 20+ minute a night player at the SEC/PAC 10 level. If he's anything more than a bench player, you don't have a very good team.

I caught part of Washington's beat down of LSU a few weeks ago... they still look pretty formidable even after losing Roy.

They're 0-3 in the PAC 10 now. However, the three losses have been to quality teams. The Huskies just don't defend well enough for me to say they're a high level club.

Did they just catch LSU on a bad night?
That's bad matchup for LSU, playing against a running team, on the road, at the end of a two game west coast swing. Play the game in Baton Rouge and it looks very different.

Davis didn't have his best night, either. That'd definitely hinder LSU's chances.

LSU is missing Darrell Mitchell every bit as badly as I thought they would. Rolle helps lessen the blow of losing Tyrus Thomas, but they still have nobody to take the big outside shots that D Mitchell hit last year.

That would be a very nice pick-up since Johnson has announced that he is transferring. Also, does anyone know why he know longer plays for 'Zona?

Something about an undisclosed illness that kept him from playing. He left the team and went back home to Memphis to focus on getting healthy.

I was worried that it may have been disciplinary reasons. Lord knows that is the last thing we need here.

I could have lived the rest of my life without knowing that he was related to Tayshaun. I don't know if I can bear to see anyone related to him don the Orange and White.
