Not terrible, but indeed over her head bc,,,when it came down to equal-to or greater-than opponents and coaching matchups, Kellie and her team was out-performed consistently.
There are saituations where your team is so talented it can hide weaknesses,,,but when those situations where you are weak happen,,,you get exposed quickly...Kellie could not design an offense and she could not change her game-plan from its initial structure on the fly.
Much is being and will be revealed in the coming months re Coach Kim in this aspect. Right now her players could go out there with no coach on the bench and win games. And I do not say this to insult Coach Caldwell. YOU SIMPLY have to see that his is true.
I am a coach. I post as a coach and I try not to let my undeniable bias towards TN as a program influence my posting as an unbiased coach,,,that said,,,If I begin to see the opposing coach dictate pace and matchups and see how Kim counters that,,,that will be when I reach my next tier in determining we have the right coach.
And most coaches I give four years before I make this decision,,,But with CKC, she already has her hand-picked staff, and, per next year's already determined roster,

she has only two players that played prior to her arrival (Strickland and Wynn...Boyd and Cooper were here but did not play prior to CKC's arrival).....That said, her timeline for me to not have holdover players is cut in half).
I like coach Caldwell and truly TRULY hope for her and wish her unparalleled success...But I am a coach first and WILL BE hardest on the area in which I am most knowledgeable
