As much as I wanted to be i was never overly impressed with him. Dont really care where he goes.

I have pretty much the same take. He did some good things, showed some promise, was a solid player at Tennessee....but he in no way lived up to his 5 star billing. Not even close.

I can't believe after all the jokes a couple years ago about him being a TE and dang if that isn't what he's trying to be.

Volnastradamus.

Lot of revisionist history here. Hurd is a very good back who ran behind some absolutely CRAP offensive lines at UT, in a scheme that certainly didn't suit him (or would suit any power back). Our line his freshman year was terrible, with a capital T, and only marginally better the next year. About 80 percent of his yards came after he got belted at the line of scrimmage. I still think Hurd will be in the NFL.

When he runs like he can... Yes he is a very good.... Well a good back but he didn't play like a five star.... He lacked explosion there was no aggression when he ran... It was almost like he was playing hurt but he wasn't he was just playing sloppy... He isn't and never was a burner... The most impressive thing I saw out of him is his Pass Pro... He is a smart player good route runner from what was showcased... Just didn't have that extra something... If that makes since...

There might not be a dumber kid in world history.

He threw away what could have been a promising NFL career with this stupid decision.

Can't wait for Alvin to be a 1st round pick so he can feel that burn.

I agree that he made a bad decision............WHY????

Bryce Brown & David Oku are in the running for the stupid award

The Buckeyes offensive system fits Hurd no better than UT's. Oh the irony, no way he will run out of the I formation there. LOL!!!! GBO!!!!!

Hurd went from being one of my favorite players on the team to a self centered jerk. Quitting on your teammates in the middle of the season is never a good look. Whatever he does at OSU, good luck to him. Most of the fans and UT players will remember him nothing more than a quitter.

I dont understand the obsession with Hurd now that he's gone. I couldn't care less. Any team that would waste a scholarship on a quitter would have to he desperate.

If he keeps going into bars and drinking under age his college career may finish quicker than he thinks. Was spotted in two different bars drinking in middle Tennessee in the last two weeks. Kid continues to make unwise decisions.

I don't want anything negative to happen to him, but I'm done at the same time. Not many people have the Privilege and opportunity to be a Legend on the Hill, but he had it and totally pissed it away.

You do you Hurd. That's what you're best at.

Better go somewhere he can get on the field. He can compete there as a RB but at any other position he is way behind.

Going from an offense that doesn't fit his style to an offense that doesn't fit his style.

He is a genius!

He would be going there to become Aaron Hernandez (minus murder), imo, so pretty smart move.

This thread is embarrassingly full of women scorned.

The bar serving him is risking a lot more than he is.
This shows he hasn't learned a thing and any team would be foolish to have him around.

I just read every post up to this one. I saw 1. One that could be described as "scorned women" and that would be a stretch.

Full?

Good luck Jalen.

He wants Urban to turn him into multi- dimensional weapon.
And win a championship.
