Jalen Hurd Visiting Cal

Cal would be good for him. He needs to move far, far, far away from whomever has been providing his advice over the last couple of years. Way, way, way away from them.

No chance there, his dad who lives in Cali, could be the one that has fried Jalens head.

Not sure why he didn't go pro unless he's changing positions. He has nothing left to prove at RB in college

In News Sentinal online he was visiting Cal. Article also stated he was not enrolled for spring semester. Isn't his father out there?

If I were he, I'd visit Miami. 1) Coach knows him very well; 2) ACC is less challenging than SEC, BIG10 or BIG12 for that matter; 3) team still has national recognition.

what position is he switching to? He can play RB and the NFL has a history of taking basketball players and playing them at TE

Last I heard he's taking VN's advice and switching to TE. IMO he's ruined his chance to learn the TE position while on the NFL's payroll. I think they'd invest in Dobbs as a TE in training long before taking a risk with Hurd.

Yep. Might as well have it branded on his forehead. No escaping that move.

There are just as many NFL coaching staffs that would look at that as an asset as there are who look at it as a liability.

If they believe he can play, he'll get picked up.

I personally think he's a petulant child and an idiot, but then again I'm a Tennessee fan. Someone looking at him from the outside could see him differently.

Not all tennessee fans see the world like petulant children.
