Report: Former Tennessee RB Jalen Hurd visiting Cal this weekend


When the NFL announced its full list of players Friday who have been granted special eligibility for the 2017 draft, former Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd was not among them.
That’s because he reportedly will be looking to transfer to another school instead.
According to Scout.com, Hurd is visiting Cal this weekend as a possible transfer destination.
Former Tennessee wide receiver Vic Wharton, a friend and former teammate of Hurd’s, transferred to Cal following his freshman season in 2014.


I honestly believe this would be the best course for Hurd. Sit out a season and learn the ins and outs of the TE position so he can show out on the field in 2018.

Cal would be good for him. He needs to move far, far, far away from whomever has been providing his advice over the last couple of years. Way, way, way away from them.

He would be moving real close to who has messed his head up. His biological father.
