Right now, I'd say we are a 5. If we beat MSU on Saturday and win 2 games in the SEC tourney I think we are looking at a 4. If we can somehow make it to Sunday I say we are still looking at a 4 seed. If we win the whole thing, that is the only way I see us getting a 3. No shot we get a 2 seed. That's not a knock on us but just look at the other teams we would have to jump.

#2 seed if we win out including SEC tourny.

#3 seed if we win out, but lose in the semi's

#4 seed if we beat MSU and get a couple of W's in the tournament.

#5 if we lose to MSU

Well, I know it's not conventional wisdom, but I will go just a bit out on a limb and say we may be just as well off with the 4/5 seed than the 2/3. Yeah, the road would be theoretically tougher, but if nothing else, this is a squad that has shown the ability to flourish as underdogs, to rise to the occasion. I know you'll call me crazy, but maybe we'll perform better if our backs are a little closer to the wall.

Losing in the first round to a good team is not an indication that we got what we deserved. We should have been playing an easier team. We would have lost in the next round but that's not the point.

Well, we got a 2 seed before without even being this good in 2005-2006. A 2 could happen. A 3 is the best I can hope for, but anywhere from 5-7 is where I think we end up.

if UT wins out they could possibly climb to a #2 seed according to Lunardi. no way they could be a #1 IMO . but will add pretty sure Rose is friends with Tony Jones and has even sent his kid(s) to Pearl UT summer camp couple years back

I'd say at best, and that means winning out, we're looking at a #3. Mostly likely we'll be as high as #4.

I don't see anyway we're a #2 seed.
