Jalen Steele leaving MSU

Hypothetically, if we got him what do you think our guard rotation would look like?

I'm not sure if Steele can play the 1 or not, his numbers reflect a SG but that may be because he wasn't given the opportunity I don't know. Assuming he plays just the 2:

PG: Thompson/Austin
SG: Hubbs/ Steele
SF: Richardson/ Cornish

I agree 100%. No way I would bring in a 30% shooter who also had issues staying within team rules while at Miss St. JMO

Anybody know what rules he violated this past season? My guess is smoking the cheebah...

Where did you see that he's a career 30% shooter?

I seem to recall him walking out of a practice, not sure if that's why led to the suspension, but might be.

I don't think Ray would let Jalen transfer to any team that MSU plays in the 14-15 season, kind of like Pastner not letting AB transfer if Memphis played Tennessee. This is all speculation of course and it will come down to Ray's word.

If JS sits out a year, then Ray has no part in the decision where JS can go.

I was trying to find rules of CBB transfers but I couldn't fiind an updated site. You sure?

Pretty sure. That's why Cam Clear went to Juco for a year. Just like sitting out a year. Then he basically opened his recruitment back up. Free to go to any school he wanted. Otherwise, if UT still "had the rights" to him, he would have never been released to an SEC school. Schollys are year to year contracts. If JS sits out a year, then he is free and clear.
