Pat Robertson is a piece of crap. Years ago he spoke out on taking action of an African country, saying the leader of the country was a good Christian man. It turned out Robertson had a big investment in the blood diamond mining operation in that country and was worried about his money.

Yep. When you are trying to figure out motives in politics/geopolitics, rule #1 is that you can't really be too cynical.

It is entirely possible, perhaps probable, that the most cynical thing you can imagine is the true motivation.

Could somebody please explain to me the jurisdiction we have in the killing of a Saudi national within the country of Turkey by 15 other Saudi nationals?

He was a resident of the US and a reporter for the Washington Post. Trump IMMEDIATELY came to their defense and argued against any response. As suspicions grew that the Saudis have him in their pocket, he issued a carefully worded statement that he has no investments in SA, leaving open the real question -- does he owe them here? Are they investors in his real estate?

The whole thing stinks. There needs to be an investigation of Trump ties to SA and any effect that had here.

Khashoggi was a U.S. resident. As a U.S. resident you are subject to all the protections of a U.S.citizen. If a nation thinks they can murder a U.S. resident with no consequence than they can do the same to a citizen.

Chaser: There’s not an Ambassador to the Saudi Kingdom became the administration hasn’t appointed one.

He was on Saudi soil. In Turkey. You can't fix stupid, and we cannot..... SHOULD NOT protect people from themselves when they do stupid ****. We can protest I guess, but he walked in on his own volition. It might be different had they thrown a bag over his head while he was walking down the street, but he walked in the front door.

If Trump was threatening to cancel arms deals and impose sanctions, the minions here would not be asking why we care about a non citizen overseas. They'd be championing Trump for being stronger than Obama.
