So basically his death was an accident. A Saudi agent was walking, slipped on a banana peel and accidentally chopped this guys limbs off
No doubt.Looks like the Saudis will admit that he was killed, but will claim it was an "interrogation gone wrong." Yeah, sure, I guess that's why you come equipped with bone cutters. Never know when those interrogations are going to take a nose dive and you'll need to cut up the body into little pieces.
The thing is, as atrocious as this murder is, the lines are so blurred as to which side the individuals are on we may not know the real truth as to why he was killed. Was he outspoken because he was aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood as the Germans are claiming? Was he murdered because he was a secret agent? Was it simply because he was a critic of the kingdom?Yeah, something like that. MBS, who evidently had three members of his personal security detail there along for the ride, knew nothing about it.
The scary thing is Saudi Arabia will probably behead a few of these guys just to lend credence to their BS lie that this was a rogue operation.
Most journslists get 10 years and 1000 lashes for disagreeing with the kingThe thing is, as atrocious as this murder is, the lines are so blurred as to which side the individuals are on we may not know the real truth as to why he was killed. I find it hard to believe that it was simply because he was a critic. He had to know that they would kill him when he went in if he was simply a critic.

Saudi Arabia is a Mafia state. I don't mean that in a hyperbolic or figurative way. They are a Mafia state run by a royal family and their associates.Yeah, something like that. MBS, who evidently had three members of his personal security detail there along for the ride, knew nothing about it.

The relationship between Saudi Arabia and the United States is like a battered husband coming back to his lover. Pakistan too.I will give Trump credit for being honest. This morning again he said he is reluctant to punish SA because of financial deals and the oft-cited "helping us in the war on terror" line.
Should he cancel the military hardware sale and hurt US companies and their employees over this?
I'm undecided on that.
But I definitely think it was wrong to rule it out on the front end, and defend them like he did. It's funny, he says he is waiting for all the facts, but in reality he is clearly siding with them already and is waiting for facts that he is going to say support the decision he made in the instant he first heard about it.
He's lying to the extent he says he is waiting to hear the full facts. As usual.
