I don’t throw up memes when I can’t refute facts and then go on to claim that Trump is giving up morals for oil prices Without proof , other than your opinion . I gave you an article explaining why but being that you hold your intellect higher than most experts , I see why you think you know best . It’s also the reason why we point and laugh at you . I shouldn’t have to explain simple concepts like supply and demand to such a well educated liberal like yourself .

You don't believe you're being embarrassed because you're clearly not capable of comprehending the subject matter, if you were - you'd abandon this argument.

Trump expressly admitted not holding the crown prince accountable so that oil prices didn't skyrocket. I linked you his exact words, it wasn't a meme - try to keep up.

Said MBS was a bad man? Lol. Idk about you but I would have found the hypocrisy amusing. Trump doesn’t have any moral capital to call out anybody.

That leaves real action.

I think he’s right that cancelling the arms deal does nothing. They’ll buy them somewhere else. We got to pay for Melania’s day trips somehow.

So sanctions? Again, the Saudis are pretty much impervious because they sit on enough oil to entice anybody to trade with them.

Anything more than that seems like an overreaction.

As an aside, the “ally against terrorism” crap further underscores Trump’s ignorance of foreign policy. The Kingdom has been a breeding ground for terrorists for decades.

I've already stated that he shouldn't have tried to justify the murder.

He should have called the spade a spade and owned the fact that he know's MSB is a murdering douche but that we still needed to do business with them.

Most people recognized he was in a tough spot and as I stated earlier he took the low road and tried to dance around it. He should have just grabbed it by the pussy.

I mean, I get what you’re saying, in a vacuum, but who would have really cared about Trump calling somebody out? Unless it’s his pussy grabbing hand that’s getting the bone saw, this man is constitutionally incapable of feeling empathy for anyone. Even the folks here who sleep in their red hats don’t defend him as a decent human being.

So I mean I applaud you for keeping up the good fight but without meaningful action, which I don’t think would have been advisable, I guess I don’t see much difference.

At this point I’ve given up on any issue of morals and I’m just pleased when the man doesn’t do actual harm to the country.

You are splitting hairs for the purpose of political expediency. Khashoggi was on his way to becoming a US citizen. He lived in D.C. and was a member of the American press corps.

Absolutely! Mohammed bin Salman should be subject to the Magnitsky Act. I mentioned that earlier. The United States is not without recourse here and it would be a proportionate response as well.
