Jamar Hornsby

J
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Jamar Hornsby, a Mississippi football signee with a history of legal trouble, has been arrested and his probation could be revoked.

Starkville police arrested Hornsby on March 1 and charged him with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor petit larceny after he and two fellow East Mississippi Community College teammates allegedly assaulted a man in a McDonald's drive thru.

Hornsby, already on probation after taking a plea deal in a misdemeanor credit card fraud case that occurred while he was a member of the Florida football team, is accused of using brass knuckles.

Hornsby, a safety, was expected to compete immediately for a starting job with the Rebels, who had depth issues in the secondary last season. Now coach Houston Nutt says his status with the team is uncertain.

Is this kid a stud on the field though? I know he is a sick person but everyone deserves a 2nd chance.

I don't care if we get him but just wondered how good of a player he is

I think after being arrested again this weekend, he might need a third chance:lolabove::eek:lol:

"I'm still committed to Ole Miss," Hornsby said Tuesday afternoon. "It was a good visit. Tennessee's in a bigger city, and there are more things to do. The stadium at Tennessee is bigger, but it's not too much of a difference."

Bigger city= More credit cards, so basically what he is saying is. hey Knoxville! Whats in you're wallet?

that quote makes me wonder if he even saw the stadium at Ole Miss. Ive seen high school stadiums that looked better.

I'll second that.
I went to an Ole Miss game, one of my G/Fs best friends is a cheerleader there.

I was thinking, wow you guys get hyped up for this? Its like the size of an outdoor rodeo expo.

While it is true that Ole Miss has a rather pathetic stadium, I think you might have misinterpreted the quote. I don't think he is saying the stadiums aren't much different. I think what he means is that other than the fact the UT is in a bigger city and has a bigger stadium, the schools are not that much different.
But I could be wrong. If he does think the stadiums aren't that different, he hasn't seen them.
Not that any of this matters, since he is already signed with Ole Miss and is already back in trouble.
