It's classless for a coach to say these things, with that being said he is just trying to rally the fan base and energize his players. He's doing what he has to do at a perennial loser program, doesn't excuse it but there is a method to the madness. Never fear he will show the same lack of integrity and commitment when he bolts for a better job.

I wonder if the idiots here know how to read...it's in the "Around the NCAA" forum which means, if you're in this forum, this is where stuff around the NCAA goes....which Candybuilt is part of that....so quit being douchebags per usual.

Those saying our fans say the same crap, you can't compare what fans say to coaches. If Dooley would have said this about Peters, he would be getting bashed by all the Dooley haters. Check Swains tweet

@JaysonSwain I cant believe a college coach said a kid who decommitted didnt have class or integrity. Thats like a porn star calling someone a slut.

I wanted to say this but felt it was a lost cause. There are some stupid threads, but I just posted this because I thought it was hilarious that he would do that.

Pretty low...Dooley said nothing but good things about Otha and Santos...had it been Franklin they would have been "low class" individuals.

Serious question

What is the point of verbally committing to a school early, if you are going to take visits and phone calls from others schools?

For example, Peters. Why commit so early? Because you aren't getting any other offers at the time?

Why not just always say, "Tennessee is my leader for now, but I am going to make damn sure that's where I want to be".

To me, if you commit you better sign unless something drastic happens, ie Santos. He always wanted to be a Longhorn so I understand.

Franklin was on 3HL yesterday afternoon and its apparent he wants to be the next Gerry Dinardo. He received a commitment from some player in East Tn and talked about his recruitment. Spoke of how this young man grew up a fan of "another institution", how his parents were fans of "another institution", and when he went downstairs to the recruits basement it was all decked out in paraphernalia and colors from "another institution".

Yeah that worked out real well for Gerry, James. A good role model to follow loser.
