Jarnell and Jordans draft status

Richardson stock will rise as he continues to improve on the offensive end. Him and Oladipo are similar. Not from the athletic point of view but defense and offense wise. I wouldn't be surprised to see Richardson make a improvement offensively while still being our best lock down defender.

Did someone really just say they could see Golden going as early as the late first round? Lol

Maymon reminds me of Anthony Mason personally. Good rebounder, good ball handler and passer, similar build.

Armani Moore is who I would compare with Oladipo.

I think Richardson could end up being really good. He's a more polished offensive player than his stats reflect for sure. The more shots we need him to take, the more shots he'll start to take. I think he will make a huge jump and become our best player his senior year. He's already one of them now.

I think Stokes is a better scorer, but body wise and athletic wise they're definitely very similar.

What got Blair the recognition was the numbers he put up...If Jarnell starts putting up 17 & 12 for a season his name will start appearing in the first round.

I'm trying to figure out where you see a 6'6" Maymon playing in the league? Not a lot of Power Forwards in the NBA at that height he would have to play the 2 in the league. Honestly 6'6" is generous.

Be interesting to see what Maymon actually measures out at going into the draft next year. I have always thought they were a little more than generous with his height listing.

Both do. Undersized, but absolute animals in the paint that know how to throw their body around.

I agree with Stokes, Maymon not so much. I still say Mason, but younger guys probably don't remember him too much. One of the first point forward types, I could see Maymon being able to do similar things.

Just my opinion, but I think to be a nba prospect, stokes need to take a few notes from Johnny O'Bryant from LSU. They are similar size but that guy seemed to have a more nba ready game. Not saying that guy is necessarily better than stokes but I thought O'Bryant has game that's more suitable to the nba, at least for now.

I agree. Stokes isn't as athletic, but as you said taking some notes from O'Bryant would be a good thing. That turn around, or hook of the glass...Jarnell needs more than a 5 foot and in game.

Please explain why you think other wise? I watched Oladipo for 3 years. Came into IU with about the same expectations as J.Rich. Oladipo is more athletic but there's not much difference.

You said Richardson's "stock" would continue to ride and then compared the two. The reason Oladipo is viewed as a first rounder is his exceptional athleticism. Therefore, when you say he isn't the same level athlete that eliminates the comparison.

Jarnell reminds me of Zach Randolph a lil bit if he can get a lil bit of a jumper going

Not even close. Stokes can't shoot from outside the paint and Randolph makes a living off the midrange jumpers. Not too mention the fact that Randolph can handle the ball. Its like comparing apples and oranges. Stokes plays more like Dwight Howard (Yes I know there is a major height difference.) But both play with there backs to the rim and use their strength and size to get to the rim.

No because Oladipo's all around game improved. He was all dunk until late last year and the year. He was a late second round pick to undrafted pick before the season began. Richardson won't be a first rounder but his stock will rise if he continues to evolve on the offensive end. That's what I was getting at

6'7 260, quick, great handles, good passer, smart, decent midrange shot, beast on the glass, great motor. I definitely think he plays and contributes in the NBA. Look at DaJuan Blair with the Spurs. What's he, 6'5? Without some of JMs skills and quickness and I've seen him play very well.
