do you guys think he would be better off against Kentucky with Nerlens Noel injured??
Stokes should be able to handle Stein pretty easily down low. He has size but he's raw and commits more silly fouls than regular post players. Wiltjer is the one I worry about. Hall being out on the 3 point line is dangerous.
how do you know what Martin says to stokes about rebounding? I mean the guy is averaging close to 10 boards on the year and definitely in SEC play.
yeah, he struggles finishing but he has bad touch around the rim and that is something you practice, not verbally berate him about.
if you have been watching, you can see that stokes has been better about finishing around the rim and with contact. that is a result of practice and development. if anything, Martin has done a great job with stokes compared to pre-sec play.
that's what I was thinking!! but seeing how they are supposed to have one of the best recruiting classes next year, that would subtract one of their starting freshmen
Their class next year is lacking a dominate big. If Noel stayed (i don't think he will), Kentucky could legitimately have 3 of the top 5 picks in the NBA draft playing for them next year.
